At last count, with stands filling up fast, there were 38 first time exhibitors at The Source in February 2015, alongside around 110 of our regular exhibitors! We all like to see new things and with everything from beer to bread, cereals to coffee beans, and marmalade to meringues, not to mention spirits, wine and truffles, you’ll be spoilt for choice! Here’s just three of them, to give you a little taster. You’ll have to come to the show to see the rest!
Shaplands Fine Food
Shapland’s Fine Food was established in 2014 with one goal in mind, to bring innovative high quality food & drink products to the South West’s independent fine & speciality food marketplace. They are dedicated to bringing fantastic quality products to quality independent retailers. They are commited to building strong and successful relationships between themselves, their suppliers and their customers. Based near Exeter in Devon, in the heart of the Westcountry, they aim to be friendly, flexible, passionate and professional. (Stand NC1).
Proper Cornish
Proper Cornish are the UK’s leading handmade Cornish pasty manufacturer. Cornish to the core, they’re based in Bodmin in beautiful North Cornwall, use Cornish produce wherever possible and make their traditional Cornish pasties to an old family recipe handed down through generations. They’ve been making pasties since 1988 and, dedicated to sharing the delights of Cornish fare, they supply to wholesalers, independent retailers, supermarkets, catering outlets and tourist attractions across the UK and beyond. Sin (Gluten Free Goodies) Ltd
Sin (Gluten Free Goodies) Ltd are manufacturers of premium gluten free cakes and brownies for retail and food service. “Sin”: from Spanish, meaning ‘without’. They bake without the gluten but with all the passion. They produce gluten free treats that don’t compromise on taste. Their brownies are very popular not only with those who are wheat and gluten intolerant but also those who can eat a normal diet. Their repertoire is expanding and they have now moved into their dedicated gluten free factory where they produce all our delicious brownies and cakes. (Stand A9).
