Discover something new

April 8, 2013

There’s only one week to go until Source opens its doors, and as a little teaser to tempt you in, here’s a few of the Newcomers you can see at the show – brand new companies from the South West that have never done a trade show before – you saw them here first!

Delish*
In their Devon kitchen, Delish produce a range of seriously scrumptious biscuits, relishes, and sweet preserves. They are inspired by the glorious bounty of the surrounding landscape and use the simplest & purest ingredients to expertly create a taste sensation. Their range includes high fruit conserves, relishes, jellies and savoury marmalades, crispy savoury biscuit thins and sumptuously sweet biscuit treats. Nothing artificial here – just small batches produced with love and care. (Stand C26).

Saucy Spice Co*
The Saucy Spice Co create hand blended spice packs which allow you to create fantastic food from around the world. All of their products use only the freshest herbs and spices, they do not use additives, preservatives or emulsifiers. Their products are gluten free and contain no artificial ingredients whatsoever. Inside each pack are all the herbs and spices required to make that particular dish. There is also a recipe in each pack which shows you how to put the dish together. (Stand D29).

Greta’s Fudge
Handmade traditional crumbly fudge freshly made in Exeter every day. No palm oil, additives, colourings or preservatives are added to the fudge, just lots of stirring and patience. It’s creamy, crumbly and rich and, even better, it has a six month shelf life. A small gift of fudge carefully wrapped in boxes or bags can add a thoughtful and impressive touch at meetings, presentations, or office parties, make great corporate gifts and is sure to delight in the guest rooms of hotels and B&B’s. (Stand C28).

Little Windsor*
Little Windsor are an independent Dorset producer of high quality, free range quail eggs with deep yellow yolks and thick whites encased in wonderful speckled shells, which are produced in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner. Freshly laid in the English countryside, quail eggs are healthier for you than chicken eggs, and are incredibly versatile and delicious as a snack, canapé or as a supplement to other dishes. (Stand E25).

Norcott’s Cider*
Norcotts Cider is a new range of ciders developed and produced locally in the West Country. This independent cider company was set up by Christopher Norcott and his wife in April 2012, producing “A Cider for every season”. Their range of ciders currently comes in five exciting fruit flavours – Original, Cranberry, Pear, Raspberry & Orange, and Elderflower.  (Stand F29).

Only one week to go and we can’t wait! Have you planned your visit? Who are you looking forward to seeing?  See you at the show!
