Exeter College is a large, thriving and growing tertiary college. At the show, the college students demonstrate some of the fantastic skills they have learnt during their studies, in live cooking exhibitions, ranging from Asian cuisine, springtime gateaux to desserts and pastries in a purpose built exhibition kitchen. They also support the chefs in the In-toto demonstration kitchen.

OLIO is a free app that connects neighbours with each other and with local shops so surplus food and other items can be shared, not thrown away. Neighbours simply snap a picture of the food they want to share with a brief description, pop it on OLIO, then neighbours nearby can browse, request and pick-up whatever takes their fancy. It’s not just neighbour-to-neighbour food sharing. We also have volunteers who save unsold food from local businesses, who then redistribute it to their community via OLIO.

Speciality Food Magazine is the UK’s largest circulated fine food trade title, in print and online. Speciality Food is written exclusively for fine food retailers, and offers its readers the latest news, views and issues directly from the food and drink industry.
