In just one week’s time The Source trade show opens its doors. Why not visit our special Newcomers area where we will be showcasing around 15 first time exhibitors? Not just companies who have never done our show before, but companies from the South West that have never ever done a trade show! Here’s a little taster of who they are and what they do:
Boom Kitchen
Winners of Taste of the West’s most innovative product of 2014, they’ve reinvented the curry, making it easy for pubs, restaurants and the home foodie to create curry house flavours in less time than it takes to order a take-away. Each curry kit contains Boom Base™ , the finest fresh spices and all the curry essentials you need to knock up a restaurant beating curry. All supplied with easy to follow, beautifully crafted instructions. Gluten free, preservative free, thickening agent free, and faff free! Made by hand in Devon. (Stand NC4).
Freddie’s Tea
Freddie’s Tea is a new, exciting and ethical herbal tea company. Their clean & luxuriously smooth Guayusa tea has more antioxidants than green tea, no tannins and a slow energy release. Guayusa tea has a naturally occurring blend of caffeine and theobromine which provides a balanced, focused energy, and has a smooth, rounded, slightly sweet taste. Grown in Ecuador, supports indigenous Ecuadorians growing guayusa in harmony with the Amazon Rainforest. (Stand NC6).
The Proper Marmalade Company
Marmalade properly made from fresh fruit, occasionally with improper additions. All their marmalades are handmade from fresh fruit, simmered until the peel is soft before boiling to a set with sugar. In their opinion, this is the only way to make a good marmalade. The sharpness and clarity of the fruit shines through. Their multi award winning marmalades come in eye catching packaging. Here the taste is as good as the look. (Stand NC14)
Devon Distillery
Devon Distillery is the UK’s first and only micro distillery creating grape-marc-spirit, DAPPA. Using a custom-designed, hand-crafted, and authentic Italian copper pot still, Devon Distillery is producing an after-dinner drink and cocktail tincture of exceptionally high quality. Only carefully selected grape skins from English vineyards are used to make DAPPA, which has clean, crisp and grassy flavours, with hints of berries and earthy tones. (Stand NC2).
Bird & Wild Coffee
They are an organic coffee company in Dorset focused on sourcing and roasting great tasting single origin coffees from tropical forest farms around the world. Their 100% organic coffees are naturally grown under the rainforest canopy, a haven for birds and other wildlife, and ideal conditions for nurturing deliciously different beans with a taste of the wild. Their award winning range of coffees are available for retail and food service customers. (Stand NC10).
