Brett Sutton, Chef Proprietor of The White Post, Rimpton
Brett and Kelly Sutton are proud to welcome guests to The White Post, the only pub in the UK that straddles two county borders. Winners of a Taste of the West Gold Award in 2014. Their award winning restaurant has far reaching views across the beautiful Dorset and Somerset countryside, from where they source their ingredients. They also offer fantastic accommodation in their three en-suite rooms.

The River Cottage Canteen and Deli opened its doors in Plymouth’s Royal William Yard in 2011. The restaurant and deli features a triple-height ceiling, and has a large outdoor terrace, affording spectacular views of the River Tamar, looking towards the Sound and across to Cornwall.
Elly Wentworth, Chef de Partie at The Manor House Hotel, Castle Combe
Elly was named the overall South West Chef of the Year, sponsored by the Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink, after also taking the title of South West Young Professional Chef, sponsored by Michael Caines Ltd. She will be joined by Alex Brownrigg, a Young Professional finalist in South West Chef 2014 and demi chef de partie at the Manor House Hotel. Breathtakingly situated in Wiltshire and on the outskirts of Bath lies Castle Combe village. Untouched since the 17th century, this chocolate box Cotswold village is home to the definitive country retreat, The Manor House Hotel and it’s fine dining Bybrook Restaurant.
Richard Hunt of The Devon Scone Company
Following more than 20 years in the hospitality industry, Devon Scone Company’s Richard Hunt – a well-known face on the Devon food festival trail – has launched a new professional hospitality consultancy service aimed at sharing his expertise and knowledge with fledgling and experienced chefs or restaurant owners.

Previously Head Chef at the two Michelin starred Gidleigh Park at Chagford for 6 years and a former winner of Taste of the West’s ‘South West Chef of the Year’ competition in 2006, he was also Executive Head Chef of Abode Exeter for a year before joining the Five Bells in November 2013. Delicious, simple, seasonal dishes and pub favourites with a stylish twist at the Sister Pub to the Jack in the Green.
Collin D Pereira – Lavani Indian Restaurant Torquay
The “Top Hat“ fun chef is the owner and Chef de Cuisine of Lavani in Wellswood, Torquay. A speciality Indian family run restaurant with an accent on regional Indian cuisine and Anglo-Indian cuisine of the British Raj for the global palate. Taste of the West Gold Award winning Indo-Devon restaurant, which is currently Devons best Trip Advisor rated restaurant. Lavani is launching its own brand of very unique Non-Vegetarian and Vegetarian Indian pickles.
Ben Palmer, Chef Proprietor at The Greedy Goose, Plymouth.
Former Barbican Kitchen head chef Ben Palmer took over the Tanner brothers’ former restaurant and relaunched it as The Greedy Goose in late 2014. It is in Prysten House, the oldest building in Plymouth. Ben brings years of experience and awards to his kitchen and he was a quarter finalist on MasterChef: The Professionals in 2011.
